What is included in the price of a trip?

Kayak, PFD, paddle, paddle skirt, splash top, dry pants, gloves (if necessary), water, food if noted, dry bags, camera box, eyeglass chums, parking fees, and a fun-loving, qualified guide!

What information do I need to register for a trip?

We will request the number of paddlers and the height weight of each paddler so we can match you with the perfect kayak. We will request your paddling experience and age so we can make sure we match you with the correct tour. We will also ask about the relevant medical issues of our paddlers to make sure there is nothing that will jepardize their comfort or the safety of their group of paddlers.

What gear should I bring on a trip?

Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, your own water bottle if preferred, camera (smaller cameras recommended) for lots and lots of stellar pics.

How should I dress?

Wear something you don't mind getting wet, water shoes (suitable for walking such as strap on sandals), bathing suit can be worn under clothing. For cooler weather an underlayer, fleece top, fuzzy bunny hat.

What should I NOT wear?

Boots, jeans, cotton warm-up bottoms such as sweats are highly discouraged as they become easily saturated and make for unsafe paddling.

Do I need to be an experienced paddler?

We have kayaks and tours for folks who have never sat in a kayak, as well as kayaks and tours for more experienced paddlers.

How often are trips canceled and why?

Mother Nature is completely unpredictable. Sea Me Paddle takes pride in paying attention to the local lake wind and weather forecast and makes conscious and well-educated decisions to manage the risk benefit factor to keep our paddlers safe!
